The beginning of the 2013-14 Legislative Session has been a busy one with several pieces of legislation that would impact LeadingAge California members. LeadingAge California’s public policy staff is monitoring and acting on approximately 100 bills this year as they move through the legislative process. Legislative Policy Committees in both houses have already begun hearing bills and will continue to do so until the middle of May. The next legislative milestone will be the Governor’s unveiling of the “May Revise” which will launch the formation of the final budget bill.
